Description: Enjoy hearty traditional South African meals in the cosy comfort of our farmhouse just outside Darling. Every day we open our barn home to guests for lunch and gracious dinners and friendly family gatherings around the large family table. We serve old time favourites like Boboti, Chicken Pie, Waterblommetjie Stew (in season) Curried Tripe, Roasts, Potjiekos amongst others, vegetables and salad and old fashioned desserts. Accommodation in one of Darling's many country guest houses can also be arranged upon request. Saturday evenings no children under 14 please, Sundays children all ages welcome. Head chef: A family affair Signature dish: Boerekos! Coming from MALMESBURY / CAPE TOWN TURN RIGHT, coming from YZERFONTEIN / LANGEBAAN TURN LEFT. Carry on past Evita se Perron, over the railway line, down bluegum avenue (Evita se Boulevard) until road becomes a dirt road, After approx 13 km on dirt road look out for a large wooden cross on right-hand side. Turn right there carry on 1,8km until you reach Lelieblom Farm. |
