Set in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley, the Goederust Farm Kitchen caters for those who wish to relax and enjoy the wholesome taste of South African food.

The starter was a pancake filled with carpaccio ham and brie topped with watercress and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. It was divine and the main dishes were so tasteful. Really good value for money!"

The restaurant staff was very accommodating and had no problem offering us their a la carte menu despite the size of the group. Everyone commented on the good food and most people were disappointed that they had not known about the place earlier. We would like to congratulate the staff on a laid back, yet very professionally run restaurant. This is a rare find in Franschhoek where each restaurant tries to be more upmarket than the next - at this farm kitchen one can just have a good time."
