Description: Bientang's Cave Seafood Restaurant is situated on the shores of Walker Bay and is carved into the depths of a century old cave extending over the rocks almost to the water's edge. Bientang's Cave is in the heart of the best land-based whale watching area of the world and is a prime tourist attraction in one of the most beautiful Marine Reserves in the Western Cape, overlooking the only whale sanctuary on the African Continent. Famous for our bouillabaisse soup and line fish grilled on open fire, our seafood is delectable with patrons returning regularly to sample our fayre. At our oyster bar on the rocks you can enjoy fresh oysters and fine wine with the waves lapping at your feet. We offer a full a la carte menu consisting of various seafood, daily specials and a variety of delectable desserts and coffees. Our fantastic selection of wines, which are stored in our unique, natural cellar located in the inner depths of the cave have received two Merit Awards, two Platinum Awards, a Gold Award from Diner's Club in the last five years and a Diamond Award in 2010!
