Situated in the picturesque seaside town of Hermanus, Paradiso is set aside from others by its genuine and welcoming feel. The restaurant is located in an authentic fisherman?s cottage overlooking the renowned whale-watching haven of Walker Bay. Complete with sandstone walls and original wooden floors Paradiso oozes character around every corner. The open-plan kitchen into which guests can get a glimpse of the action behind the scenes contributes to the bustling atmosphere for which Paradiso is adored. The restaurant further boasts an outside seating section, which provides for great al fresco dining on those balmy summer evenings.

The menu features traditional, but sophisticated Italian cuisine with a South African touch. They are famous for their thin-based pizzas fresh from the wood-fired oven with exotic combinations such as blue cheese, roasted butternut and pumpkin seeds; chicken, Dijon crème fraiche and avocado; and double smoked ham with dried fig and mint. Further to this Paradiso offers a wide range of salads and pastas, as well as favourites such as veal piccata lemoni and a trio of prawns platter, making this venue accessible to guests from all spheres - no matter how deep their pockets go.

Paired with a taste of wine from their mainly ?local? wine list or speciality Italian wines, lunch or dinner at Paradiso will leave you with a true sense of comfort.
