With Bruce at the till and Jenny around, you are welcome here, just sit right down. You arrived as a stranger but will leave as a friend, and tomorrow we will be excited to see you again. Order your coffee, Breakfast or Lunch, try our specials, there is no rush. Whether you?re playing chess or browsing the web, chatting to friends or catching your breath.

You are welcome here at any time. Chaplins Bistro is the best Bistro in town.

Chaplin?s is a well established bistro in Knysna which was bought by Jenny and Bruce Burrows in August 2012.

?This was a dream for us, an opportunity we had been looking for, for some time. Our goal was to have our own hospitality business which we could build up and manage jointly. The pre-requisite was that the location had to be at the coast, where better than the beautiful Knysna!?

Jenny is from a hospitality background, employed in the past as an events co-ordinator and most recently working in the coffee industry, so this environment is nothing new for her. Bruce on the other hand is from an engineering background, so new to hospitality however, he has taken to it like a duck to water!

?Our mission is to provide our patrons with the finest quality food and the BEST coffee in town at affordable prices, great service and a warm, relaxing, friendly experience. We want our customers to feel like they are part of the family, so we strive to get to know you on a first name basis, although at times our memories fail us.

We invite you to visit us at Chaplin?s Bistro to experience our wonderful vibe and enjoy a great cup of coffee and/or tasty meal or something off our confectionery display.

All our food and sweet treats are freshly prepared on site by our chef?s Tiny and Noel and our baker Veronica. Our coffees are prepared by our barista Cynthia and you will be served by Chantelle and Constance. Our shop is kept clean by Agnus and Princess.
