Amazink Live is a culturally authentic, interactive South African musical and dining experience which takes place at the AmaZink restaurant situated in the Khayamandi Township in Stellenbosch.

At the entrance to the Boland town of Stellenbosch lies Khayamandi - meaning nice place to live in isiXhosa. Within the myriad of winding streets lined with corrugated iron sheet houses and with one of the best views of the majestic Simonsberg, is AmaZink Live, South Africa?s first Township Theatre Restaurant. On offer is the very finest kasi cuisine designed by Bertus Basson to offer the very best of South African flavours and a music experience produced by Barnyard Productions to honour legends such as the late Miriam Makeba, Johnny Clegg, Mango Groove and many, many more.

AmaZink Live! tells the story of a township shebeen facing closure, but manages to keep its doors open through the magic of music. Some of the songs included are Pata Pata, The Click Song, Special Star, Skokiaan, Impi and African Dream to name but a few. AmaZink Live! is a culturally authentic musical. Audience interaction is encouraged and a chorus of entertaining waiters not only serves up the most delicious 3-course meal, but makes this musical experience complete.
