Description: Basic Bistro is a cozy restaurant situated at the heart of Stellenbosch and offers a wide variety of items for all the senses to enjoy – we serve quality food from Breakfast to Dinner, specializing in Gourmet Burgers with 150g Steak Mince Patties, Pastas and Continental delights, Gourmet Espresso Based Coffees to suit the most fussy connoisseur, Fine Wine and speciality Cold Drinks like our Mint and Lemon infused Rooibos Iced Tea. Sit back and enjoy finely selected music that ranges from the latest Indie Folk song to a few Classic Jazz items. Experience some great art and views of the busy Church Street filled with the shadows of Oak Trees. Sitting inside will invite some very attractive smells, whether it is the smell of our Arabica Beans grinding for a fresh Cappuccino or the smell of some Thai Chicken Strips browning in the pan.
