Restaurant description

This restaurant is situated in the centre of the historic town of Stellenbosch in a turn of the century building with large windows creating a feeling of space and tranquillity.

This stylish restaurant's menu includes the usual favourites with the addition of Kashmiri style kebabs cooked over hot coals as well as tawa dishes seared at a high heat on a flat grill.

Bukhara invites you to enjoy great Indian food in plush yet vibey, busy atmospheres.

All the restaurants have the signature open kitchens, which allows you to watch the North Indian chefs in action, creating succulent tandooris and aromatic curries.

The menu is mostly North Indian, however regional cuisine is available at the different branches. Some specialised South Indian dishes, Kashmiri barbeques, tawa dishes, dumpukt and typical South African meats such as ostrich and game including springbok and kudu.
