Restaurant description

Decameron Restaurant & Beer Garden, at 50 Plein Street, Stellenbosch, was founded in 1987 . From 2006-2010 the entire building was revamped. Owned and run by Mario Ladu ( founder, see his picture below)
and Andrea.

Decameron?s philosophy on food is about authentic Italian dishes simply prepared from quality ingredients and fresh produce.

Decameron Restaurant has a large clientele of regular patrons, made up of business people and families alike.
At the main entrance to the restaurant, in true mediterranean style, is a large shaded Wine garden.

Inside, the walls are decked with a massive array of paintings and prints of Italian origin and the Renaissance period. The ambience inside is rich and warm, and as you walk through the doors you are impressed by a distinctly Italian aroma, fresh baked breads, pizzas, ( made in the wood fired Pizza Oven) home made pasta's.
