Whether you seek a relaxed picnic underneath the old oak trees, an alfresco lunch on the shaded Terrace, a fine dining experience in the elegant Governors Hall Restaurant or sophisticated drinks at the chic Esquire Bar Lounge, The Lanzerac Hotel offers the perfect setting, views and cuisine for any occasion.

The hotel's main a'la carte resturant, the Governors Hall, opens its impressive, wood-panelled doors daily throughout the year. Classically decorated in rich jewel tones, this stately establishment is home to imposing portraits of past Cape Governors, ensuring that guests dine in fine company.

Set in the very heart of the estate, the Terrace's shaded outdoor venue is the only restaurant in the region to boast a view over distant Table Mountain.
An ideal venue for those seeking a more casual yet equally tempting menu.

Lanzerac is also proud to announce the opening of a new delicatessen on the Lanzerac Wine Estate. Indulge in the heart of the Cape Winelands with the very best in fresh, artisan produce. Breads, cakes and pastries will be baked daily, tempting guests each day with the aroma of freshly baked produce and aromatic coffee. Delicious home-made jams, chutneys and sauces will be on sale so that guests can purchase their best tastes of Lanzerac.

Guests will be treated to a selection of delectable deli items, where diners can create their own sandwich or platter for lunch from the selection of charcuterie and cheeses on offer. Picnic baskets will also be available to be enjoyed in the Deli's garden overlooking the vineyards.

The Lanzerac Deli adjoins the new Lanzerac Wine Tasting Room, which has been completely remodelled and renovated, and has grandly opened its doors in November. The sophisticated and well-designed Tasting Room stands proud as a true reflection of the high standard of wines produced on the Estate.

Elegantly designed in oak, stone and muted fabrics, the Lanzerac Tasting Room shines as an example of the highest standards the Lanzerac prides itself in. Guests are welcome to move between the 2 venues, enjoying a wine tasting and something to eat in the Deli.
