Description: Oude Wellington is one of those hidden gems of the Boland. Winter evenings are a great time to go as there's always a fire on the go.

The cooking is elegant and refined, offering starters such as a delicious biltong and blue cheese soup, and for mains, lamb knuckle with minted yoghurt. The rhubarb crumble and the sticky toffee pudding both merit special attention.

From Cape Town exit the N1 in direction Wellington (Exit 47). Follow the R44 into Wellington town centre. At the big white church turn right to Ceres via Bainskloof Road. Follow this road 4.5km. Pass Bovlei winery and turn right at our sign "Oude Wellington".
