And was not disappointed. After reading all the reviews, thought we'd see if it lived up to its reputation! The food was really very good - one of the best beef curry's I've had in a long time. The portions were indeed huge - good value for money - and the service was excellent. I was impressed that it was so packed in the middle of the week and middle of the month. Only negative comment I have is that the kids' menu needs a bit more added to it (only pizza at the mo - but very good pizza, mind you), but other than that, all good and we'll definitely be back.

Had the Eisbein - mouth wateringly delicious! Super crispy outside and tender on the inside. I can also highly recommend the hot chocolate decadence dessert - sinful it?s so good!

Our family are regulars - great food, great service, and great playground for little folk. Albert and Helene are wonderful hosts, whether inside or outside I can guarantee that the food will be a tasty, large portion, expertly cooked and served with a smile. We love it there.

Have driven past Alberto's a number of times and thought it was just another sport bar/pub. Decided to venture in after reading the reviews on this site. The restaurant section is not very big but offers great service and tasty food. The portions are big. My wife had the Chicken Schnitzel with half fries/half veg and I had the Lamb Neck with the same sides. Good food. Good prices.

My family are regulars. Birthday parties etc, anything to celebrate, we book Alberto's. I love my Eisbein and my wife the Lamb's neck. We love the veggies as a choice and the food just taste great. See you there.

We have been to Alberto's twice in the past two weeks and we were impressed with the good food and friendly service. The calamari steak was wonderful and the rump steak was done to perfection.

We are regulars here. I had the most delicious, tender, yet crisp on the outside, Eisbein, with skinny chips, which were to die for, and salad, and my partner had the 250gr fillet, done medium, which I tasted, and it was melt in the mouth steak! He had 1/2 chips and 1/2 veggies, and said the spinach was the best in town! Will always go back!

This is Durbanville's best kept secret! the food, service, and wine list is excellent and the best value for money in town. Definitely worth a visit or twenty!!

We eat here regularly and highly recommend it. Great food choices, you can mix and match your food, eg. 1/2 chips and vege's, all vege's, all chips, and my ultimate favourite, 1/3 chips and salad, and I get to choose just lettuce, tomato and onion as my salad and they happily oblige.
