I love the traditional old fish and chips. The way it is prepared and served at Die Windmeul is so tasty. I enjoy it every time we dine there.

We ate there and the service is really nice with friendly students helping you and the food is served so well and quickly and tasty. As for the apple pie that was divine would highly recommed it and the sprays of water is great as it is really hot there.

I go to the Windmill every year for my birthday. The people are very friendly and the waiters are excellent. I love the Sunday roast.

In spite of not being able to make a reservation in advance for Saturday for our group of 36, we could all be seated on arrival. The staff assured me before hand that they would try their best for us. What a pleasant surprise awaited us. Our meals were served professionally and without any hassles within about 5 minutes after placing our orders. The food was also very well prepared and delicious. The staff regularly enquired whether everything was still in order or if we wanted any refills etc.

We had breakfast at the windmill this morning, their waiters are extremely well mannered and their staff is polite and well trained. It is a clean area and I am pleased that the restaurant were able to accommodate us, as this was a very good experience.

Visited yesterday (Worker's Day) and had a really great lunch - fabulous hake and prawn special. Had excellent service and the prices were unbeatable. The cherry on the top was the shop next door with wonderful fresh produce and more at unbelievable prices. Will be back!

What a splendid visit to The Windmill Restaurant! We celebrated a very special family birthday on Saturday, 3rd March. We called in the morning to check whether they would take a weekend booking. Not only did the staff on duty accommodate all 16 of us, but they went out of their way to make our meal simply awesome ~ right down to a gift for Mom, the 70th birthday lady! Fantastic to get such pleasant and charming service-with-smiles!! The staff are certainly a credit to your establishment! Highly recommended!!

My wife heard about this place from a friend and always wanted to go there. On our 1st Year Anniversary I phoned them to book a table. They went BEYOND what I would expect from any restaurant! Everything was perfect; our table stood out from the rest and was even decorated with roses WITHOUT me requesting anything. The food was great; the waiter Suzie was extremely helpful and friendly. Long story short, AWESOME place to eat and to relax and you really get a bang for your buck!

We needed to plan something exceptional for a very special family birthday lunch and The Windmill proved to be the perfect choice. They were very accommodating, the menu was perfect for the occasion (in line with our Dutch theme), the food tasty and the atmosphere was wonderful. Many thanks for the great lunch!

I have this group of elderly people that I was going to take out for a treat on a farm. But then it started to rain and I realised it was impossible to go there.
I suddenly remembered the nice pancakes my family had at The Windmill (Jasmyn), so I got the number on the internet, and phoned Elize.
She phoned me back, and came with a rate pp that I could hardly believe.
We went there, and everybody was talking about the excellent service. The filled pancakes were lovely prepared, we got juice and coffee on the house. Everybody said they are all coming there with their families in future.
I can only say Thank You, Wikus and Elize. Excellent and outstanding.

The Windmill was secretly recommended to me by one of their competitors and I am so glad we made use of The Windmill for our daughter's kitchen tea. They spared no effort in ensuring we would have an unforgettable time. Everybody that we invited was equally impressed and I can highly recommend this restaurant without any hesitation. It might be a little bit out of the way if you stay in Pretoria, but the surrounding area and views definitely compensate for the drive.
