My husband and I have visited Giovanni and Maria's restaurant at the Wonderboom airport on a regular basis since the 90's.I have been to Italy many a time and have eaten at many top of the list establishments but have not met a Chef more devoted to his fine craft in the culinary art as Giovanni.The freshest ingredients are used in every dish which stands out as a tastebud experience of Italian food hard to find elsewhere in the world.Giovanni is an artist in confectionary having been the first to introduce his famous Ice-cream cheesecake.My absolute best is Giovanni's baked Parmagianna dish with secret ingredients so heavenly that it transfers you to places far away from your everyday mundane life.Thanks Giovanni that you have made Pretoria a better place in giving us joy in the pleasure of dining at your beautiful restaurant.Kind regards to Maria.Angie and Manlio Passetti..Grazie!
