Excellent service! A+ for presentation and taste. The emphasis is definitely on Nouvelle Quisine rather than value for money; i.e Orders cost about 50% more, solely based on the restaurant's choice of French cooking and presentation. Enjoyed my visit there, but left still feeling hungry... and slightly robbed.

We had the most fabulous food and evening. Their dishes are very unusual, but some of the tastiest we have ever had. The wine selection was amazing, with very knowledgeable staff who recommended the most fabulous desert wine with our rhubarb tart (something I haven't had in years!!).

Aubergine is a fine dining restaurant that I have been wanting to eat at for a few years now and for some reason have not managed to get to until now. And WOW was I impressed. The wine was delicious, the food so delicate while the flavours blew you away. We were a party of 4 where two of us had the 5 course gourmand menu, I had the seafood menu and someone had a la carte. I have to say that it is definitely well worth having one of the Tasting menus as the overall experience of the food - served with carefully chosen wines is not to be missed. The whole meal is so well balanced that you walk away feeling satisfied but not stuffed.
