Having eaten here many times, I have only praise. The food quality never varies from its high standard and being very reasonably priced. Lamb shank is utterly delicious. The seared steak dish is really good. The pasta is superb. Everything on the menu is a treat, and always well prepared. Service top class. A glass of Stellenbosh Red is value of money, as is a carafe of Durbanville Hills Sauvignon Blanc. The view of Table Bay is breathtaking, and on windy days there is is often a memorable spectacle of twenty or thirty kite-boarders riding the waves; sunsets are quite extraordinary. Wintery evenings include a fire and the sound of wonderful warm conversation from many regular patrons.
