I've been to many a bistro, but nothing has matched 9th Avenue. From the plate to staff and ambience, they've got it right to dotting the I's and crossing the Ts.

What more can you say about Durban's Best Restaurant other than this is a real hidden gem. Superb food so why would you want to go elsewhere, unless you were looking for sushi!
Perfect restaurant for special occasions

9th has been my favourite restaurant for many years and it is certainly the best restaurant in Durban. The food is consistently excellent, the service is faultless and the new decor now matches the the food and service. You must try the pear salad and the fresh fish. For dessert I would recommend the trio of mousses - absolutely delish. The menu changes every few months but you really can't go wrong with whatever you order.
