I'm on Holiday in Hout Bay. An excellent choice to visit Jonkershuis in Constantia for breakfast. Good service, friendly staff, fantastic views, excellent breakfast choices and delicious food.

With small kids its always challenging finding restaurants that are kiddie friendly. Jonkershuis is our 'go to' for weekend breakfasts because there is space for the kids to run around, there is a kids breakfast menu and as a parent you're able to relax without feeling like other patrons (and staff) are getting annoyed with your children. The breakfasts and coffee are good - a little on the pricey side - but then this is a big tourist destination too. The kids love the French toast with bacon and syrup.

We are a regular here and have enjoyed many a breakfast with friends and kids. We visited again and had afternoon cakes and where again impressed with the service from all the staff even when the restaurant was very full. Will be back many more times.
