My husband and I went last night on our 55th wedding anniversary. We have been a number of times before. The food was absolutely fantastic. The service outstanding. 33 High Street remains our favourite restaurant not only for its food but also for its close proximity as we live in Modderfontein. So one can have a glass of wine without the worry of a long drive home.

We visited this restaurant in March 2012 and it was one of the best experiences we had in a long time. The owner, Thea, is great and an amazing chef! Just leave the cooking and ordering to her and you will have a fantastic experience. The Portuguese dishes are 10/10, the staff and service friendly and helpful and the ambiance is relaxed and informal. This restaurant is a must for everybody enjoying good (Portuguese) food and great atmosphere.
