So difficult to get proper boerekos these days, except at home - or at Dassiesfontein. But its not just the food that draws the crowds, is everything. The ambiance, the goodies, the smell, the crazyness ... the bread!!! I have a guest house in Botrivier and I send every single one of my clients to experience this gem in the Overberg. Its an absolute must - even if it is just for coffee, bread and jam.

The food was well prepared and tasty. Their home made bread is fantastic. Service excellent. Browsing and buying before and after the meal was interesting and took us down memory lane.
