We really enjoyed our evening meal here. The location is amazing and one of the best kept secrets of Franschhoek. The food and service were good. Well worth going up before dinner for sun downer drinks on the terrace.

Spent a leisurely day in Franschhoek made spectacular by the decision to try Dieu Donne restaurant on the word of friends and family.
Mid-winter yet a perfectly clear and warm day led us to choose a seat outside looking down and over the majestic Franschhoek valley and mountains.
Our waiter was friendly well spoken and perfectly efficient. The food was some of the best we have had in some time. For me, the fillet paired with their home-brewed German-styled Pilsner was a win-win meal for me. My wife had the deboned springbok shank that was tender and filled with slow roasted vegetables which was a pleasant surprise.
Dessert was a rhubarb crème Brulee for me and a Dieu Donne Sundae with ice cream, meringue, berries, chocolate sauce and a few other delectable’s. Both were delicious! Followed by some coffee rounding off a perfect lunch. Highly recommended.
