We always choose De Kelder restaurant as a venue to celebrate our anniversary and we have never been disappointed. I love the ambiance, the rose petals on the red carpet upon entering the restaurant makes me feel like royalty, the music, the candles!! The food never disappoints. The menu and wine list is quite extensive. My husband is a celiac sufferer and the staff makes sure his meal does not get contaminated. They also caters for his special dietary needs. I just love De Kelder. It is truly our favourite eatery.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at De Kelder, the food is amazing and the service is top notch! I have never in my life tasted such tender melt in your mouth calamari! Everyone at our table was happy with their meals! The only thing I can fault is the prawn dishes, whilst the prawns are absolutely fantastic, we found the starch to be under salted and dry as there are no sauces (we tried the prawn dish with both rice and the noodles)... in future, I would order a side sauce to throw over the rice / noodles. But an amazing meal nonetheless and I can't wait to go back when I am in PE again! And as it was extremely cold and windy, the bar smoking area was the cherry on top for us, really appreciated not having to venture out into the freezing cold!
