What a divine new venue!!! It is about time that there is a place not too far from Jo'burg yet out of the hustle and bustle of city life.

The scenery was amazing, I got to sit on the deck and enjoy the riverside view while I enjoyed a glass of wine.
The food was truly delicious. Just good wholesome food.

I cannot wait to try a picnic at this venue, not to mention booking in for a romantic weekend at the hotel.
I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends.

I have dined at the Blades a number of times and can highly recommend the setting, food, ambience and general peacefulness of the place. The food is superb and helpings are large. The Blades is a new venue on the Kameeldrift Road just past Roodevallei and Kiewitskroon and is well worth a visit.

It’s a fabulous venue, I got to have delicious cocktails on the deck and it truly was a good end to a hard week. Also the food is superb and I got to enjoy the lovely view while dining. It’s not too far from Johannesburg and it’s worth the trip to get out of the city and enjoy this spectacular venue. The rooms at the hotel are beautifully decorated and comfortable and you will not be disappointed. Defiantly make a trip out and go see for yourself.

I have had numerous meals at the Blades and am a big fan. The food has always been absolutely top notch though the clincher for me is the ambiance. With a variety of options ranging from indoor restaurant area to outdoor open deck and open air restaurant, its a great choice for all meals. The proximity to the water makes for a superb setting.
