Hands down the best food experience we had during our week stay in East London. Excellent Service, Excellent food, and amazing coffee and milkshakes. Most definitely the place to go for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Just unfortunate that we only stumbled across it on our last Day in East London. Will most definitely be my first stop next time.

Cafe Neo is a great spot for any sort of gathering, be it for a meal, cocktail snack or just for coffee, I enjoy going there, the, atmosphere and view does it for me, its gets me into this relaxed mood when sitting down and admiring amazing view. Love having the Mediterranean basket with a Mojito. My fav spot in East London. No better spot in E.L for me.
Lamb shank

Took a friend to Cafe Neo yesterday for lunch. We both ordered the Lamb shank, (which I'd had there before). It came soon, for lamb shank & the portion was large. The meat was a little dry though, the flavors where a little cooked out.. We found ourselves adding Tabasco sauce to try zing things up a little. The gravy had a nice enough flavor, but seemed inadequate for the huge hunk of meat. I know I'm splitting hairs, but it tasted like the gravy flavors had not been galvanized to the shank. As we were hungry we wolfed the whole lot down while reminiscing over memorable lamb shanks we'd both experienced elsewhere. Having said all that! I find Cafe Neo to generally provide a high quality dining experience, a place I generally recommend to people visiting East London.

A couple of friends and I went to Cafe Neo for a few Cocktails, the cocktails were the best cocktails I had ever tasted. The service was great, very friendly waiters and barmen...always have a smile on there faces. The food was delicious, affordable prices. I really had a great experience with Cafe Neo and will definitely be going back. Keep up the good work:)
