After reading all the comments from people, I felt the urge to write my own review of the restaurant. I don't know which Gwefey everyone is talking about but if it's the Gwefey in Sandton I would say people are doing it injustice. Gwefey has an amazing panoramic view, natural lighting and a fresh breeze always blows through, amazing food, and good service. To those that say they got poor service I urge you to go back I guarantee you will have a memorable experience. Especially with the new Thai chef in the scene.

This is probably one of the best Asian restaurants that I have eaten in this country. This experience reminded me of when I traveled to Asia for work. I don't have enough words to describe the quality of food. If you love Asian food, then try this place!

I've been all around the world and tasted many different Asian cuisines but must give two thumbs up to Gwefey. It was an orgasmic experience from the first minute I walked in there to the last minute I had to drag myself away. Absolutely divine!
