We spent a gorgeous evening with two friends at Guardian Peak. They were not phased by load-shedding, and the full moon and a few romantic candles even added to the atmosphere. The view is however not dependent on candles... everything, food included, was memorable, and when I need to book, the first idea that comes to mind is Guardian Peak. While I realise this review is slightly over the top, that was precisely our experience.

Very reliable bistro style venue. Great ambiance, service sometimes a bit disjointed but never bad. Food always consistently above average, sometimes exceptional. Wines great but they do need a sparkling or cap classic product. Should open Sundays.
