This is the place we go to for a good meal, it nothing fancy but reliably good food including pizzas, in a relaxed environment under the trees or if its cold, inside next to the fire. Music and fun on some Fridays (I think, better check)

The food here is truly excellent with chef and owner doing all the cooking herself! The burgers are enormous with the most incredible combinations on a homemade patty and hand cut chips- not those horrible frozen ones- and the steaks are incredible. My favourite burger is the Mona Lisa with blue cheese and escargot and my favourite steak is the African Fillet with red wine sauce, pinotage onions, rocket and Camembert cheese.
