As soon as Asian cuisine is mentioned, thoughts of anything from dumplings, sushi and curries come to mind. Asian cuisine refers to any of several major regional cuisines, each with their unique style of cooking practices and traditions.

Cooking methods such as stir frying, steaming, and deep frying are popular in the making of Asian food, with the wok being one of the most popular instruments used.

Rice is the most common and also the most varying ingredient found in Asian cuisine, but by no means does it mean Asian dishes are bland. Flavoured with various types of spices, Asian cuisine generally blends several tastes together - sweet, sour, salty, spicy, and bitter.
