At The Butchers Block you will find a premier Port Elizabeth restaurant and grill-house, sporting a fabulous menu with super aged meat, exciting alternative steak and game dishes, as well as lighter seafood and poultry selections, and very well priced function menu?s. Attached to the restaurant is an upmarket pub that is very popular with locals and visitors alike.
The ambiance at The Butchers Block is elegant but comfortable and in no way pretentious. The restaurant leads out onto an intimate patio and enclosed all weather garden ideal for enjoying the beautiful Port Elizabeth summer nights. A private room is also available for small functions or that special occassion

The steak and game is on display in a glassed fridge and patrons can choose not only their favourite cut, but the in-house butcher will cut the choice to the patron?s preferance. Customers can also buy their cut uncooked and vacuum packed for home cooking.

The Butchers Block boasts an award winning wine selection from vintage South African estates all carefully housed in their temperature controlled wine cellar.
