Restaurant description

The innovative restaurant concept was inspired by a father&son journey to South America to discover the magic of Argentinean asado- grilling with fire.

South Africa has its own unique culture of braaing so it was clear that the two styles could be combined to create a dining experience that appeals to everyone.

The word braai in the context of braai culture can take on many forms such as describing a social meeting or the art and process of cooking meat over an open flame.

We focused on bringing something different to the table, something that captivates and excites our diners by evoking nostalgia through local favorite dishes.

Another big part of our success is the atmosphere and vibe that the customers experience when coming to Copper and Coal, it?s not just about the food but an outing. We believe that our food as well as our service is of a high standard, our prices are incredible value for money and we focus on putting our customers first.
