Restaurant description

Caledon Gardens Guest Farm and Restaurant is situated in the magnificent Eastern Free State, on the R711 between Clarens and Fouriesburg. Located in the unspoilt Caledon Valley overlooking the Maluti Mountains of Lesotho. In the winter months, you can sit in the restaurant warmed by a roaring fire and see the snow on the mountains, and in the summer months sit by the dam enjoying the sunset in the lush gardens while savouring a glass of wine.

The restaurant caters for the public and guests with an A la Carte menu, with continental specialities constantly being added and changed on the menu. The menu changes according to the seasons and availability of fresh and seasonal produce.

Home-made breads, soups and continental country cooking is the order of the day in the cooler winter months, with unique, scrumptious fresh salads being served in the warmer summer months. Country style breakfasts are served on a daily basis.

Special events are catered for with up to 50 guests being seated in our restaurant. The views combined with a gastronomic experience in an excellent country setting, makes for great dinning.
