Welcome to Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse ... South African to the Bone!

We specialise in the finest custom-aged South African beef, broiled the way you like it up to 380 degrees Celsius to lock in the flavour. Our menu also incorporates a superb selection of seafood.

Smith and Wollensky is owned and run by the dynamic team, Wimpie and Monica Piek.

The first restaurant opened in Eastgate shopping centre in May 2000 and in Sandton City in May 2002. The name Smith & Wollensky was picked from the ex-presidents of Rhodesia, Ian Smith and Roy Wollensky.

Driven by an enormous sense of pride and integrity, we are prepared to meet all challenges head-on and with a clear sense of direction and purpose. We are confident, established and proven. Simply in charge!

We entertain our guests with food, ambiance and personal service.
