We at The Sheikh's Palace offer something Exotic to appreciate and hope to enchant you with the customs and traditions of an ancient civilization. So sit back, relax and be treated like a Sheikh.
Lebanese hospitality is expressed by the offering of a variety of foods. The gesture is accepted and reciprocated by indulging.
Mezze - derived from the word 'miz' (which means to taste) is usually served as an array of sumptuous, individually hand prepared starters with contrasting flavour and texture. These delicacies are served buffet style to the centre of the table and eaten with bread or fresh vegetables from the Jacht Ghodra (a platter of fresh seasonal vegetables) a healthier, lighter option.
It is regarded as proper to eat with your hands?tearing a piece of bread or vegetable, either placing it on the desired item and pinching between your fingers or elegantly dipping it-making sure your hands are kept clean.
Main course is then served - either plated or pattered for guest to share. Smoking of the Argileh (Middle Eastern Hubbly Bubbly) is customary as well as the performance by writhing Belly Dancers, where tipping of the dancer is a sign of enjoyment.
Dessert is the most important custom accompanied with coffee or mint tea showing that one is satisfied with the hospitality. A single malt, cigar, cocktail and cognac menu is available.
The Sheik's Palace has been awarded the American express platinum fine dining restaurant of the year 2010, and the Diners club platinum award of excellence wine list of the year 2010.

To the new management: Good job guys, I know how much goes into this and that is not always easy! The girl we spent some time with was very professional, sober, interesting with loads of sex appeal. We will definitely spend more time at your club. You made us feel welcome, special and safe. See you soon!"
