With a myriad of nearby attractions, caves, game parks, trout farm, the very well-known Maropeng heritage site and several little farm stalls, there is a lot for old and young to enjoy.

The rustic beauty of Africa, styled in the romantic English tradition, set on a Warmblood and Lusitano horse stud farm, Post and Rail Country House offers an idyllic setting with a beautiful fish pond, iceberg roses, chattering birds, and roaring fires in winter ? a romantic setting, the perfect abode for any wedding couple wanting to have their very special day in our quaint chapel and stunning restaurant, set in a lush garden.

We offer comprehensive catering services for up to 150 guests for: wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, birthday parties, breakfasts and brunches, christenings, conferences, corporate and school functions. Facilities include a private function room for up to 40 guests serving a la carte, buffet or a set menu. Complete booking including the whole restaurant inclusive of the private function room and the tea garden for your convenience, also offering a la carte, buffet or a set menu. Chapel can accommodate up to 120 guests comfortably.
