On arrival at about 7pm we were warmly greeted at the door and shown to our very comfy seats, perfectly positioned and styled.

We settled in and were served some still water along with some complimentary breads and condiments. The breads were extremely tasty and evidently freshly prepared over the grill, incredibly warm and toasty - just the way it should be.

A little while later our waitress (who's name escapes me now) came over to explain a bit of the menu offerings to us, which was great as it really assisted us in choosing the dishes best suited to us. For starters I opted for the Coriander Tostada - smoked tomatoes, avocado and feta mousse.

It was absolutely heavenly, incredibly fresh with a range of great flavours and textures, hitting all the right spots!

My partner opted for the Flaming Saganaki - kefalotiri cheese flambéed with brandy and served with roasted bread. This starter was quite impressive, the presentation and flavours were top notch.

After finishing up our delicious starters we enjoyed some much needed wine and placed our orders for the main course.

I indulged in the Lamb Shoulder (Greek Style) - lamb rib, aubergine, oregano, lemon and apricot. The lamb was incredibly flavourful and tender. This unique dish was unlike anything I have ever had the pleasure of eating before. The attention to detail in this dish was very impressive, wonderfully prepared and the quality absolutely top-notch.

My hubby delighted in a mouth-watering steak! He enjoyed a 300g Sirloin along with a spectacular mushroom and bone marrow sauce as well as a side of chips. The steak was perfectly cooked, medium as requested and the mushroom and bone marrow sauce was absolutely devine!

After our amazing main course we chatted for a while, sipping on some wine, while enjoying the modern music and unique vibe Primal Eatery has to offer. The layout and lighting here definitely adds to the already relaxing and laid back atmosphere.

Next up was the much anticipated dessert. We enjoyed the Roasted naartjie cheesecake - Amaretto jellies, honeycomb and kataifi. We also ordered the Deep fried oreos - braaied marshmallow ice cream, peanut butter and strawberry jelly. The sweet goodies were absolutely heavenly and ticked all the right boxes for us. The range on offer is sure to satisfy any and every sweet tooth out there. We especially loved the light cheescake bursting with the most amazing flavours.

After satisfying our appetites, we relaxed for a little while longer.

We were really so impressed with the service and quality of food offered at Primal Eatery and cannot wait to visit again soon! Our lovely waitress was a delight and made us feel right at home.
