On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at the very stylish Vista Marina, located in Waterfront, Cape Town.

Enjoy a taste of luxury and sophistication from the water's edge, with uninterrupted views of the V&A Waterfront's marina and a unique angle of Table Mountain, seldom seen after dark.

Visit Vista Marina for breakfast, lunch or dinner and indulge in an all-new dining experience. Vista Marina offers just the right balance of comfortable refinement and contemporary opulence.

On arrival for lunch we were warmly greeted and directed to our table, perfectly positioned with the most amazing views.

A little while later our waitress came over to take our orders. We started off with some drinks, I opted for a delicious homemade ice tea, my husband a craft beer and my daughter delighted in a heavenly strawberry milkshake. There are also a wide range of great cocktails on offer.

Thereafter we placed our food order. My daughter enjoyed a Chicken burger - fried Chicken, fries, onion rings and a lovely citrus mayo.

My hubby delighted in an amazing sushi spread - He indulged in the MARINA PLATE - Salmon roses (4), California rolls (4), firecracker rolls (8), salmon and prawn nigiri (4) and a few other portions from the A La Carte Menu which he thoroughly enjoyed. His favourite was definitely the firecracker rolls (Tempura tuna, avocado, mayo, sesame seeds).

I took pleasure in the FILLET AND CALAMARI PLATE - Beef, mash balls, Maldon salt and fried calamari. The fillet was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portions were really great! Fantastic value for money.

After thoroughly enjoying our mains we relaxed and chatted, while taking in the most magnificent views.

Next up was the much anticipated dessert. We opted to share an ice cream - Vanilla Ice cream, honeycomb, almond praline and chocolate sauce. Absolutely divine.

We were really so impressed with the service and quality of food and cannot wait to visit again soon!
