Restaurant description

To you the public, who for many years have been coming in to relax in this delightful setting in the Durban Botanic Gardens, we say Thank you. We offer you scones and crumpets, freshly made each day (weather permitting) except Good Friday and Christmas day, the proceeds from which we use to supply indigent tuberculosis patients with food parcels as they cannot take their medication on an empty stomach.

Recently we have added hamburgers, pies and toasted sandwiches to our menu, which has increased our total proceeds slightly. We are offering specials on Sundays and we are increasing our range of snacks to you for your wedding photography sessions, birthday parties and large family gatherings. Feel free to contact us for a special menu for just about any occasion.

All who patronize the tea Kiosk participate in a unique community project, bringing health and hope to tuberculosis victims.
