Restaurant description

Tapas is originally a Spanish concept designed to provide small portions of food for sharing. Our menu is inspired by popular dishes from South East Asian countries like China, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Vietnam. We aim to present these dishes using a worldly influence that celebrates our South African cosmopolitan society.

The idea behind most dining experiences in Asia is to share communally while enjoying the company of friends and family. Our food is served to diners on a centrally revolving stand which allows everyone access to all dishes served. We also provide specially designed round tables for up to 10 diners which ensures that everyone can interact freely. With each diner choosing their favourites and then sharing, everybody gets to experience more flavours - instead of your palate being stimulated by two or three dishes, you could be engaged by ten!

In order to provide an inspirational dining experience and offer fresh new tastes and textures, we continually evolve our menu. We perfect new dishes by trial, error and attention to detail - these dishes use fresh seasonal ingredients and also challenge our chefs to focus on continual improvement. We also utilise various cooking methods including steaming, pan frying, deep frying, stir frying and oven roasting.
