Restaurant description

Mo-Zam-Bik Gateway in Umhlanga is our only franchised store. Opened in October 2012 by owners Dagan Gradwell and Johan Muller, it offers a true Mozambican experience in its traditional decor that is embedded in every one of our stores.

Situated in the busy Gateway shopping mall, Mo-Zam-Bik offers a rustic and uncluttered retreat for shoppers wanting to rest their tired feet and escape the hustle and bustle whilst refuelling with a mouth-watering meal or a refreshing cocktail.

Although smaller than its sister branches, this little fish restaurant will not disappoint as the standard of service and the traditional food that Mo-Zam-Bik has become known for takes you on a journey to the shores off the East Coast of Africa. The menu remains the same as the larger branches and offers delightful food combined with a mixture of Afro-Porto flavours, made with only the freshest ingredients and spices.
