Restaurant description

Sondela restaurant has been launched and styled after the South African township Shabeen. A selection of traditional township dishes and South Africa cuisine are on offer and made to order. While you are waiting for your meal you can order from a range of good value wines or soft drinks or a cold beer.

The style of music played - jazz is a popular genre and contemporary music. Watch our calendar for live entertainment where we often feature live music on a Saturday night or join us for dinner before or after going to the Izulu theatre.

The wooden tables and benches are set around a centre fire place where the Chef's cook Shisa Nyama to order. You could find yourself out on the deck sitting overlooking the koi Ponds and sipping on an iced cold beverage, so come join the 'lekka' vibes and come dine with us!

Suitable for small parties, special occasions and private company functions our trusted event staff will assist you in all the preparation and planning of the perfect party.
