Butcher Block Pietermaritzburg which is situated in the Garden Food Court at the Liberty Midlands Mall offers the guest an intimate and relaxing dining out experience, one of the finest in the Pietermaritzburg area. As per a truly South African tradition, steaks rank very high on our cuisine agenda, and as our slogan states we are ?a cut above the rest?.

We mature and wet age our steaks to perfection before they are prepared and served, thus ensuring the most succulent and tender steaks. We take pride in our ability to provide our guests with superior tasting steaks. This restaurant will tantalize your tastebuds

Our mission at Butcher Block is to provide guests with the highest quality cuts of meat and for this reason we only serve AAA Grade products that are available on the market. This philosophy has been paramount to our success.

Guests are provided with an array of thought provoking toppings for their steaks, as well as a feast of other exquisite dishes to choose from including seafood, chicken and vegetarian dishes. Guests are invited to select the perfect wine to accompany their meal from our excellent wine selection in our temperature controlled wine cellar. The diverse selection includes mature vintages and vintages that are held on reserve. We strive to provide service excellence and top quality meals to our valued guests.

Butcher Block Pietermaritzburg has a seating capacity for 180 guests. Trading times are from 10am until 10.30pm. We look forward to being of service to you.
