Devil's Peak Brewing Company's latest venture, Devil's Peak De Oude, is situated in the lovingly restored 1677 heritage building of De Oude Welgemoed at the foot of Tygerberg.
Visitors will be treated to a combination of Old World heritage and beautiful natural surroundings while enjoying the finest locally sourced produce prepared by Head Chef Michelle Fourie. Her impeccable palate, passion for wood-fired cooking and strong South African/Italian heritage promise a true feast for the senses. The menus, lovingly crafted by husband and wife team, Jacques and Michelle, are the product of creating amazing food together over twelve years and two continents.
Being part of the Devil?s Peak family, you can expect a wide selection of craft beer from legendary head brewer JC Steyn. Eighteen rotating taps will offer regular favourites and a number of limited releases. The craft offering does not stop here. Fortunately, De Oude also provides the perfect platform to showcase South African and international craft spirits, carefully selected wines and world-class coffee - any of which make a perfect pairing for our top quality, locally sourced produce.
This must-visit destination is ideal for a family dinner, business lunch or to simply relax in the shade of a 300-year old oak tree while the kids play on the rolling lawns. Dine on delicious food and enjoy Devil's Peak craft beer or our carefully selected wines or spirits.

De Oude Manor
A memorable and unique dining experience, incorporating top quality local ingredients, cooked to perfection with a lick of smoke and fire, to showcase recipes passed down through generations.
OPEN: Tuesday to Saturday from 8am - 11pm and Sunday from 8am - 6pm.
Alpha Beer Hall
Deliciously tempting snacks and plates, crafted with the same ethos as De Oude Manor, to complement our 10 rotating craft beer taps.
OPEN: Thursday, and Friday from 5pm - 11pm, Saturday from 11am - 11pm and Sunday from 11am - 6pm.
Bistro
A unique and welcoming space built around a large pizza oven serving fresh, expertly crafted handmade pizzas using locally sourced ingredients.
OPEN: Tuesday to Saturday from 11am - 11pm and Sunday from 8am - 6pm.
Provisions
Bringing you the best fresh, locally roasted, fair trade coffee and a delectable selection of sauces, jams, spices and free range eggs.
