Restaurant description

Fujiyama: the authentic Japanese Restaurant in Cape Town, is run by Takanori Fujiwara, qualified Sushi and Teppenyaki chef who hails from Fukuoka, Japan. Takanori first developed his keen interest through his mother who owned her very own Sushi restaurant in Japan.

Fujiyama is in the heart of Cape Town, directly opposite Heritage Square. The decor is minimal in style and echoes a traditional Japanese aesthetic. However, in keeping with Cape Town's heritage, the building's exterior has been left in its original state. The setting makes for a perfect experience for both local and international customers who are able to dine and take in the relaxing and tranquil ambience of our restaurant. In addition there are state of the art fountains placed between tables to make the experience of the customers even more relaxing.
