Restaurant description

Arnold's has won more friends than any other restaurant in Cape Town and enjoyed wide acclaim for its stunning breakfast. Founded in 1999 and located opposite the historic Mount Nelson Hotel, on Kloof Street, Arnold's has an outdoor, seated area with magnificent views of Table Mountain as well as a warm, well-lighted and romantic dining area.

Arnolds is a bustling place right in the middle of Cape Town City Bowl.
Opposite the side entrance to Mount Nelson Hotel in Kloof Street, it caters for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Open all day from 7h45 in Winter and 6h45 in Summer.
There is no place with more buzz and this restaurant is very popular to people from all walks of life. From students to guests from the up-market hotels in the area.

Specialising in Game dishes, Fresh Salads and value for money burger plus fresh fish from the sea.
The cuisine could be termed South African - Mediterranean

Fantastic lunch specials are served from 11am and there are always interesting dinner specials. Off the a la carte menu, the Fillet Steak on Mushroom and the Johan's Sirloin are signature dishes.

There is also a nice variety of game dishes, with shadows of Ernest Hemingway himself to be found delivering the daily catch. And the crocodile ribs always peak curiosity in true Helmut Newton style.

Then again, Arnold's also produces some of the most delicious desserts in town.Be sure to catch the daily happy hour from 4h30pm to 6h30pm when drinks are at special prices.
