Born the 1st of September 1995 of a serious tequila and margarita session, Deez Mexican Restaurant and Bistro has been hiding secretly under the tallest tree in beautiful Hout Bay in an original fisherman?s cottage for 16 years.

Transformed exactly 16 years later to the day into an even more charming Mexican Restaurant, you can now find us in an intimate and historic fisherman?s cottage (150 yrs old!) drenched in sunshine boasting an authentic garden, sumptuous lounge and mountain views a stone?s throw from the beach.

We boast a simple , good value and tasty Mexican recipe menu that has kept friends from all over the globe and especially Hout Bay coming back to experience our relaxed and friendly energy restaurant.

For the best Mexican Cocktails in town Deez Mexican Bistro is the only and best place to be on barmy evenings, watching the sun set behind the Sentinel peak from the lounge while sipping on our delicious frozen margaritas, or, on cold winter nights huddle around the fire places in the super ambience of these historic walls, while savouring our globally recognised chilli poppers!
