BARRISTERS has always been a favorite meeting spot in the Southern Suburbs. Situated in the heart of Newlands Village, we continue to provide warmth, friendship and good cheer. Whether for a casual glass of wine, a great meal (we still serve the best steaks in Cape Town) or simply a warm and inviting destination to meet special friends, BARRISTERS is perfectly positioned to help you celebrate life's special occasions.

Having a comprehensive and interesting wine list, with many wines served by the glass and regular tastings, we are confident that we will have a wine to satisfy the most discerning pallet.

Our newly revamped bar and deck areas offer a wonderful venue for entertaining and with ten beers on tap, all ice cold, we are the best spot to watch sporting events on our big screen TV's. Being in the heart of Newlands, we are unashamedly Stormers supporters!

Our menus cater for all tastes and budgets, from our traditional pan fried prawns (still served on their own brass burner) to our ever popular Roquefort sauce, we continue the tradition of offering something for all tastes including delicious seafood and vegetarian platters.

Under direct management of the owners and with a motivated and highly competent Management Team, we remain one of the few independent restaurants with a long and successful heritage which we constantly strive to uphold.

This well known restaurant in Newlands has long been renowned for value for money and good fare. The weekday lunch time specials are also excellent. The friendly General Manager Brent and Owner Lance, go the extra mile to make one feel welcome and the staff are courteous and attentive."
