Restaurant description

The Newlands Wijnhuis is situated on the first floor of the fashionable Kildare Center in the heart of Newlands Village. With stunning mountain views from the vast windows, and with a casual yet upmarket atmosphere it is popular with business people and locals over lunchtime, and locals as well as guests from many of the surrounding hotels and guesthouses in the evenings.

The wine list contains some 500 wines including collectors and vintage wines, and patrons can also enjoy 20 wines available by the glass/carafe or as tasting portions. The Darling range of artisanal beers, as well as Peroni, Castle Lite and Jack Black are served on tap and can be enjoyed at the appealing bar or on the small outdoor patio with its mountain backdrop.

Meals options range from delicious freshly prepared Carpaccio platters, tapas, cheese and cold meat platters ? ideal for sharing - as well as pasta dishes, seafood, steaks and weekly changing specials.
