Read more "One of my favourite, local & value for money Chinese restaurants is, without a doubt, Yellow River in Monte Vista. There is nothing pretentious about this restaurant - The food is plain and simple, the decor is the same. I have been to Yellow River quite frequently (at least twice a month) and always find that it if frequented by local Chinese families, sitting an enjoying traditional Chinese quisine in a familiar environment. This is my 'metre-stick' when rating a Chinese restaurant - if it is good enough for the locals...
