Mon Plaisir at Chamonix nestles beneath majestic oak trees with breathtaking views across the picturesque Franschhoek valley to the Simonsberg mountains beyond. We invite our guests to "feed their souls" on the stunning scenery whilst dining 'al fresco' under the oak trees.
A unique feature of Chamonix Restaurant is the wine tasting room, which offers complimentary wine tasting so that diners can be assured of having the correct wine to accompany their meal. The tasting room, with its magnificent mural of the wine estate, has proved hugely successful and diners can also purchase wines, grappas and delicious chocolates directly from the restaurant.

The Head Chef Dane Newton has a menu is based on Classical French cuisine with a bit of a Japanese twist and contains some of the traditional French favourites such as Escargot a la Bourguignonne (snails served in their shells with a garlic & parsley butter).
