Restaurant description

Situated in the Waterfront, the restaurant overlooks the bustling harbour and Bird Island. Bird Island is Lamberts Bay's most popular tourist attraction and houses an array of gannets, penguins and seals. Bird Island is the largest nesting site on the West Coast with hides and a penguin pool and is the only island you can wade to in the Southern Hemisphere. It is therefore, no wonder, that Isabella's is the perfect spot to kick off the day, with either a hearty breakfast or just spend relaxing at, on long lazy afternoons.

Isabella's Restaurant was established 5 years ago by proprietor Isabel Burger. Growing originally from a quaint coffee shop, the establishment is now one of the most popular destination restaurants in Lamberts Bay.

The restaurant's floor is covered with black mussel shells and the walls with fish nets. It portrays Lambert's Bay as a fishing village in all aspects. The restaurant is fully licensed and the a la carte menu offers West Coast specialities as well as a wonderful selection of home made cakes. The ambience is bustling and jovial on most days thanks to a combination of regular locals and the large number of tourists who are keen to enjoy the fruits of the sea in an authentic location.

From simple hake and chips, or a pot of mussels, through to an impressive seafood platters Isabella's has plenty on the menu to tempt the taste buds. What's more Isabel and her staff of well trained ladies provide a friendly and efficient service to ensure your meal is a memorable one.
